A Team Approach for GREAT Customer Service

Great customer service is not instantly attained by a team. Rather, it is a continual process involving specific and intentional strategies to improve quality and enhance customer satisfaction.

This half-day session focuses on the team definition of great customer service as each member brainstorms and records workplace behaviors that are necessary to increase the quality and effectiveness of the team's customer service.

This brainstorming session includes facilitation to answer key questions:

  • What does your team do best?
  • What are your customer service strengths?
  • What needs improvement?

Career Span's approach is to view customers as stakeholders of the team.

A stakeholder is anyone who is affected by the team's services and solutions.

To improve customer service for stakeholders we focus on:

  • The six major competencies for great customer service
  • Strategies for enhancing relationships with stakeholders

In addition to these team discussions and activities on great customer service are team-building exercises designed to facilitate discussion and experiential learning opportunities.
